Ivory Talons, Chapter 3: Racing the Clock King
Greetings True Believers!
Welcome Back!
In case anyone missed last time, our heroes - the Knights Vigilant - had accepted a request from the infamous Dr. Victor Fries to recover medical equipment stolen by none other than Tempus Fuggit, the CLOCK KING! In doing so, our heroes would discover the Clock King's interest in a meta-power generating "Crystal Vine powder". A substance closely guarded by the Golden Lotus syndicate.
The trail led to the Canidae Technologies manufacturing plant in Brooklyn ... and right into a trap by the Clock King! Following that, they were attacked by their rivals, the Disco Boys, using rewired Hammer Empire "Titan" robots hidden inside the factory! Despite long odds, our heroes defeated the robots and discovered a clue to the Clock King's plans!
But the Clock King is known for precise schedules that he revises constantly. Is that the current schedule? Or an old one? And what does the drawing of the Venetian style carnival mask mean? How does that fit in with the Golden Lotus' "Crystal Vine" powder, Dr. Fries' equipment, and the Clock King's plans?
However, there's no time to think on that now! The battle left the factory in shambles. The commotion also attracted unwanted attention. Are those new arrivals Hammer Empire troopers? Or are they someone else?

Now that the team has quelled the fighting between the Hammer Empire and the Golden Lotus, that leaves the Clock King! So!

Just what IS the Clock King's plan? What is he after? The man isn't just a garden variety thief. His crimes are based on righting what he thinks is a moral or other kinds of "wrong" ... with a clock theme of course!

Despite the damage to the factory, the team now has to contend with what may be Hammer Empire troopers! This is the second time they have shown up in the same place as the Knights Vigilant. This may not be a coincidence...
Returning the equipment helps Dr. Fries continue his research to cure and revive his wife. In addition, helping Dr. Fries will also put the Clock King's plans on ice!
