Ivory Talons, Chapter 4: Finding Mr Freeze
Greetings True Believers!
Welcome Back!
Last time, after the Knights Vigilant recovered from their fight at the factory in Brooklyn, they left via their aircar with a clue to the Clock King's plans! It was a list of twelve addresses. Former crime scenes? Future ones? How did they relate?
Moon Knight deduced a possible answer.
After looking over the list with Taki, he plotted the addresses on his iPad to discover they formed not just a clock, but potentially a sundial. At the center lay to suspicious locations: Grail Industries regional headquarters and Oscorp regional headquarters. But! There was no idea if the Clock King was hitting targets from 1 to 12 or 12 to 1!
The group felt there was only one way to find out.
They split into teams. Team 1 was Sahara, Statesman, and Mr. Freeze. Team 2 was Moon Knight and Taki.
Team one headed for the sixth location: Bluehive Architectural Services. However, the location had already been robbed by the Clock King. What did he take? Building plans for Seedtronics Research Corporation, Starlight Research Corporation, Jupiter Microsystems, Canidae Technologies factory in Brooklyn, and the Canidae Technologies offices in Manhattan. They warned the others and headed to catch up with them.
Team two arrived at the Grail Industries offices southeast of Central Park and got a much warmer welcome! AIM had tried to break in but another unknown team of thieves took them out! Dressed in bodysuits and face-covering carnival masks, they were a handful! Yet, it was a mysterious hawk-person that proved the most trouble. Between both, the Knights Vigilant was nearly taken down!
The hawk person retreated after a dire warning that Mr. Freeze had been abducted. Battered, bruised, our heroes had no choice but to retreat and regroup!
Now, at Apothecary Fu's shop in Chinatown, the team is comparing notes and considering how to track down their unusual ally, Mr. Freeze!
Let's see if they've come up with any ideas!
This is Not Stan Lee saying ...
