The Progenitor Pantheon
The Progenitor Pantheon is the original Pantheon of gods, founded by the first of the known gods, Sar'aan. They created the mortal races who fought alongside them during The Astral Crusades against their enemies, the Titans. The highest rungs of the Pantheon consist of defecting Titans, with the exception of Sar'aan, who was the leader of the Astrals. The Progenitor gods built the planar rings and the cosmos, both to contain the Titan Realms and to provide sanctuary for their children.
Although the high gods often walk amongst their peoples in the lands of Tor'Saarn on the surface of Talirim, the First Planar Rings, they typically only do so as one or more 'lesser' manifestations. Like the later Godcasters they are able to divide their attention into multiple concurrent forms, an ability they use to keep an eye on their children while the bulk of their power and consciousness actively works to maintain the barriers between the Titan Realms and Talirim.
