Issue 4: Investigation Official!

General Summary

As of yesterday evening, the Ravnican Agency of Magicological Investigations has officially taken control of the now infamous Murder at Karlov Manor. A group of investigators consisting of Sir Isembard of Compton (known locally for his insurmountable debt to The Orzhov Syndicate and affiliation with the Brotherhood of Steel), Astragoth (a circus performer for the Rakdos Labor Union), Zane Hellbloom (a Rakdos Union member and storyteller), Sylara (an Orzhovan cleric hopeful), and Romulus (a Boros Legionnaire involved in the Night Cap raid) traveled to each guildhall in District 10 to collect the signatures of every guildmaster.
As law dictates, any investigation overseen by the Ravnican Agency of Magicological Investigations (or any Chamber of the Guildpact entity) must be first signed off by every guildmaster in agreeance that their guild will not interfere with the investigation in any way, to prevent investigative bias in the case. This rule, of course, was originally drafted by Supreme Judge Isperia nearly 272 years ago when the Ravnican Agency of Magicological Investigations took its first case involving the kidnapping and suspected murder of the Rakdos orphan Tibalt, whose body has not been recovered to this day.
Investigators reportedly also encountered the entity in the sewer tunnels known only as 'The Lotleth Troll', whose infamy has only grown since its first appearance approximately 15 years ago. Despite being involved with the signing of the document, no guildmaster had time to take questions from Dimir reporters except for Jarad vod Savo, the Golgari guildmaster and resident lich.

The omen marks referred to by Jarad obviously the foreboding mark left on the victims of the Lotleth Troll upon its first encounter. It is rumored that once marked, the Lotleth Troll can know your exact location so long as you remain on the same plane of existence, but this claim is unsubstantiated as no bearers of the omen mark live long enough for an interview.
The Ravnican Agency of Magicological Investigations plans to head this investigation full force, and is reportedly already making progress in the autopsy of the victim as well as questioning those in attendance that evening, starting with Aurelia, The Warleader of The Boros Legion, whose interview took place only moments after all guilds had signed off on the investigation. The Dimir Tribunal will be following this investigation closely and will continue to provide you, the reader, with updates as they are received.
Teysa Karlov, the manor's owner, has refused to comment on the investigation thus far and has since purchased the services of Barrister Leopold Bigwig, the renown Azorius public defender.

Boros Legion Targeted!

A recent string of torture and murder cases have been opened by the Azorius Senate who have recently determined these acts are all the work of a single individual. According to Lawmages, the autopsies and evidence of each case points to a single killer who tortures his victims before finally ending their lives. In all of these cases, the victims fingers and toes have been removed, and all of the victims so far have been ranking Boros Legionnaires. The Lawmages are investigating and could use the help of the public in determining this serial killer. If you have any information regarding these crimes, report it to any available Azorius Lawmage.

Sire of Insanity Tour Dates Released!

The infamous singer known only as The Sire of Insanity has officially released its tour schedule for the upcoming year, which can be found below. Tickets are for sale at all concert venues as well as through the Rakdos Labor Union collection agencies which can be found in any Rakdos associated place of business. Tickets are starting at 50 alms, with VIP passes available to meet the Sire and opening acts backstage at higher prices. The Sire of Insanity will start the tour next month and be on tour until this time next year, and is rumored to have opening acts to include The Guildpact, Mizzet Theory, and Guildcrash. The Sire of Insanity is intending to stay at each venue for 1 month, performing 5 nights a week, and 3 nights on the last week to account for travel.
