Description

Ixwatch was once an idyllic town north of the Keep on the Borderlands. Now, after the warring of factions trying to wrest political control of Gaes, the town has suffered tragedy after tragedy and is a shadow of what it once was.

Inhabitants

The people of Ixwatch mostly keep to themselves, knowing that survival isn't guaranteed in their war-torn land. The inhabitants are diverse, coming from a variety of different backgrounds. Also, there are rumors that some folk have grown desperate enough to turn to cannibalism.

• Lothrien, the fearsome dryad mage-hunter.

Locations

Ixwatch's renowned wizard's academy was ravaged by hateful Lothrien. Now, it is just another dilapidated husk, overgrown with vines and surrounded by the town's ramshackle hovels.

History

When Kapital sought Lothrien for information about the dangerous suneater bear, the group found the town of Ixwatch in disarray and were greeted by guards with feral, hungry looks in their eyes. They met the dryad in the charred ruins of the wizard's academy, where Lothrien had created her own teleportation circle.
Later, several unlucky villagers were chosen to deal with a young troll in the nearby mines. Although the majority of them perished, the few survivors ultimately joined Kapital, including the Simon Huxley and Yisbel Beaumont.
