Description

Located in the plains southeast of Mount Skirech, Piper's Ferry is a collection of farms, famous for beautiful pastures, magical dairy, and temporally-fermented vineyards.

Inhabitants

Most, if not all, of the townsfolk are farmers. A golemancer lived in the town's central tower, but no one has seen or heard from them in quite some time.

Religion

Many in Piper's Ferry pray to the River Goddess for good harvests, but the town's recent misfortunes have shaken overall faith.

Locations

A collection of various hamlets, Piper's Ferry is not quite large or dense enough to be a city, but still rather sizeable for a town. Notably, some believe that the golemancer's magic spread into the land, creating the time-dilated grapes, which are said to ferment into hangover-curing wine.

History

The town was named in honor of its founder, Finanigus Piper.
During the blights caused by the Fungal Heart, thrice did the town rely on adventurers to solve the problem; when Kapital offered their help, the final blight receded, and the rolling golden hills of Piper's Ferry restored. As payment, the farmers would agree to sell their excess food exclusively to Kapital and its allies, if Maximus and his soldiers protected Piper's Ferry.
When the Flesh Eaters murdered a number of farmers, Kapital intervened again. When the Hall of the Devourer was cleared out, the townsfolk were finally convinced of their safety and grateful for their friendship with the guild.
