Following the Khanfall, Alesha realized that the dragon Kolaghan did not seek to rule them or anyone. Instead the dragon challenged the khan and her horde, who valued speed above all else, to keep up with the dragon.
Alesha rode after Kolaghan as did her horde. In time, the Mardu ceased to be and became an extension of Kolaghan's dragonflight.
