Carlos Forscythe- middle aged human. Black hair with graying temples and a black goatee. Looks distinguished and well kept. Red robes with black scroll work on sleeves with gold sash.

Note:

It is important to realize that necromancy is an area of study. Raising undead is still very frowned upon, however, studying the area of magic for research and neurotic spell purposes is not frowned upon. Understanding the fabric of magic at its very heart is highly encouraged and several well known Sages have been masters of the necromancy arts without ever touching the darker elements of the magic.

Rankings/Levels:

Magic Schools use stashes to tell their ranking members apart. The color of stash tells you what year of study the students are in and all stashes are embroidered with their school emblems. The color of robes they wear tells you what their area of expertise is. All apprentices start out wearing gray robes until their proficient years then they choose where they would like to focus their studies. Colored scrollwork on the robes indicates which minor area of study the mage underwent.

Architecture

Ten buildings make up Gridsore.
The Main Building houses the administration offices. One dormitory for staff. Three dorms for students. Four buildings for classrooms. One stable. Most of the buildings are made up of stone, mainly granite and marble. The entirety of the school is surrounded by a fence with only one large iron wrought gate for people to enter through. The gate is closed at night to disencourage students from sneaking out.
