Central Highlands
The Central Highlands are a large stretch of high-altitude land in the center of the Faylen Continent. It is located to the North of Chapel Valley, east of the Faylen Gulf, and south of the Northwest Corridor.
The Central Highlands have been notoriously difficult for the Iron Dominion to settle, and their most recent effort lead to the abandonment of their settlements following their inability to protect their people from the hostile flora and fauna of the highlands.
Most of the settlers who lived in the Highlands returned to the Dominion following the abandonment of the Highlands Settlements, but some stayed behind. These "Highlanders", as they are sometimes called, are rarely heard from, and only occasionally make trips back into the Dominion for trade and supplies.
