Dusk War
The Dusk War was a conflict fought between the Kingdom of Salvone and a coalition of other states, primarily the Arimanus Sovereignty and the Jhaturian Sultanate.
The Dusk War began shortly after Mateo Salazar, the King of Salvone, underwent the Rite of Redemption, becoming a vampire. Over time, Salazar converted many in his court and the leaders of his armed forces into vampires, creating a powerful undead force to rival the other nations of Tellandria. The war broke out when Salazar ordered his armies to march on the Arimanus Sovereignty, and his Armada of Dusk to conquer and colonize the Faylen Continent.
The war was brutal, and the Kingdom of Salvone nearly won, were it not for the chance arrival of the God Wave of 4246 P.D.C.. The massive tidal wave caused by the alignment of the Shepherds lay waste to the Armada of Dusk, and allowed for the Benevolent Coalition to muster its forces and deal a killing blow to the remaining forces of Salvone, both on the Faylen Continent and in Idraz.
