Vaylorian Sovereignty
The oldest of the Idrazian empires is the Vaylorian Sovereignty, a nation that traces its origins back nearly as far as the Divine Crisis. Rather than a single ruler, the Sovereignty is ruled by an oligarchy of royal houses, known as Dumas, who collectively refer to themselves as the Vaylorian Sovereignty.
History
The Vaylorian Sovereignty was the first major power to emerge from The Collapse following The Unmaking. It was initially formed by pilgrims and refugees exploring the ruins of Molvan Riis, who found that a series of islands had been left where the great mountain had once stood. These islands appeared to be rocky and uninhabitable from the sea, but when the pilgrims landed on their shores, they found that runaway wild magic had begun rapidly terraforming the islands into resource-rich paradises. These pilgrims chose to set down roots on the islands, becoming the ancestors of the Vaylorian Dumas that now rule the Sovereignty.
