The First Great Hunt

Shortly after abandoning its settlements in the Central Highlands, and not wanting to lose its settlements in the Northwest Corridor, the Iron Dominion took a gamble on deploying the Iron Regiment to the Northwest Corridor to wipe out the dangerous megafauna threatening the settlements in 176 Y.D. The event would come to be called the "Great Hunt" in time, and is now called the "First Great Hunt."

Despite still being involved in sporadic conflicts with the Arimanus Sovereignty, the First Great Hunt was a success. The Northwest settlements were saved from certain destruction by the dangerous megafauna of the continent, and the soldiers of the Iron Regiment were hailed as heroes. The success of the campaign would influence the decision to launch the Second Great Hunt nearly twenty years later in 193 Y.D.
