At least they are back in the Sovereign Lands and no one is actively trying to eat their souls. They might have some soul searching to know if their path is the correct one as uncontrolled undead are no longer hostile to them.
Bad news, many things came back with them and they intend on summoning the Harvester of Souls with them.
Throughout the book, the adventurers must navigate the treacherous Khydoban Desert, home to dangerous creatures and harsh environmental conditions. They must also navigate the City of the Dead, where the undead rulers will stop at nothing to maintain their power. In the end, the adventurers must return to the Dead Company of Kafen Endremin, but not before facing their greatest challenge yet.
