The Bethellan
The Bethellan is the only temple in Prehn with shrines to each of the Timeless Ones and is located in Mandir. Novices come here for their initial training before they transfer to temples devoted to the specific god or goddess they are called to serve. The Bethellan is directed by a high-ranking priest or priestess representing each of the deities and who guides the novices through their training called Master/Mistress of Memory.
Architecture
The Bethellan is one of the most elegant examples of Mandirian arboreal architecture. It was sung into creation by the joint efforts of dryads and druids from the living bark of the most massive redwood tree at the very heart of the Forests of Pando and features eight chantries branching off the main cathedral as well as a honeycomb-like structure of multiple dormitories for priests and novices as well as a dining hall, kitchen, and tree-top rookery.
Tourism
People from all over Prehn visit the Bethellan either as sight-seers or as pilgrims to pay homage to their patron deity, though the journey is not for the faint of heart as the road to Mandir is long and winds through the seemingly endless Forests of Pando which have been known to harbor numerous magickal creatures and entities.
