Corman
Corman is a small logging town nestled within the foothills of eastern Craysilt. There are several settlements out here that house the workers providing raw materials to the The Unified Kingdoms of Craysilt.
The living is rough out here, but not as rough as many of the residents would have you believe. These are well established work settlements, where it is in the The High King's Seat's best interest to make them as safe and productive as possible. Therefore, money has been sunk, resources have been siphoned, and tax collectors have been notoriously lax. These towns and villages are safe. Or, at least as safe as any town or village in the rural heart of the Kingdoms.
The High King's influence is strong 'round these parts, manifesting as fierce patriotism and rugged individualism. People with names like 'Ole mountain Jimbo', or 'Grizzly Gareth' simply litter the place, each with their own unique and colorful stories.

Demographics
Entirely human, but for a few scattered non-humans in exceptional circumstances.
Government
A Council of Elders, consisting of twelve Aldermen. It is not quite a commune, but the Council of Elders does mandate where many of the resources go, often leading to contention amongst the populace.
Defences
The residents are all proficient with short bows and crossbows, but there is no standing militia. The police chief and few civil servants at his command are a capable defense team, but cannot stand against any kind of organized attack. Thankfully, there has never been any kind of organized attack against Corman.
Industry & Trade
Lumber and goods are poled down river to Craysilt, and then hauled by ox teams back up against the current.
Infrastructure
The roadways are cleared and cobbled, although wind-blown sand has offered a welcoming spot for grass seeds to take root. Road signs are evident in some places, but they've all been used as target practice at one point or another, some even sporting arrows, still. There is a smithy, an Inn, a leatherworker, a tailors, an herbalist, a lumber mill, a grist mill, a weaver. There is a small police force consisting of a Police Chief and a few Deputies, who occupy a small Station-slash-jailhouse. There is no standing fire department, no militia, and no postal service, mail and packages being sent on over to the Inn.
Assets
Lumber, freshwater fish (pike, trout, bass, catfish, salmon, sturgeon, crappie, eel, chub, etc.), deer and elk skins, bear skins, luxury furs (such as mink and sable), exceptional longbows and arrows are made here (the arrows grant a +1 quality bonus but are very expensive)
Guilds and Factions
The Lumberjacks Are Okay, a guild related the the Merchant and Sailors' Guild, is the only real organization. The people 'round these parts scoff at the idea, for the most part. Many of them would rather be alone out in the woods than in town at any rate.
History
A hundred plus years of hard-working salt-of-the-earth.
Tourism
Naw.
Architecture
Notched logs locked into each other, and post-and-beam affairs, abound. All of the buildings are incredibly sturdy, needing to be able to take the immense weight of the snow that falls every winter.
Geography
The town itself is on an island that splits the river in two.
