Hamish's Crypts-Pulpitary

The Pulpitary is where petitioners once sat to listen to sermons on grief and atonement. Lectures were available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week; often, up and coming members of the clergy would come here to rehearse their sermons for feast days and larger holidays.
Walls, dressed in stone quarried during the excavation of the elves' corpses, dress the walls. An altar of plain stone, emblazoned with a multi-rayed sun, stands at one side of the room. The space holds its own gravitas, and one feels the need to meditate upon entering it fully.

Purpose / Function

This was a room dedicated to holy scriptures, and sermons dedicated to grief, in the name of Lathander. Amen.

Architecture

This is one of the few rooms in the catacombs that is not made entirely of bone. The chapel in the room is dedicated to Lathander, and it is appointed in such a way as to prove this point out.
