The Golden Swan
The Golden Swan is one of the oldest Inns in the entire city, and damn proud of it! They serve fine wines and beers, as well as the best spirits available. The owners are nice, personable people, and the staff are all quiet and efficient. There is always something baking, seemingly. Something absolutely mouth watering. There is always someone laughing, or making love, or sobbing, or all at the same time, here at the Swan.
Purpose / Function
Making money for the owners, who have a hard time at it but seem to squeak by.
Architecture
It is a sturdy, post and beam affair sporting huge mortise and tenon joints, and those cool arm-sized dowels that pin them.
History
The history of this joint is too storied and fabled to write up in one measly little article.
