The Swampkeepers
The swampkeepers... well, keep the swamp. They are one of the more alien families, being lead primarily by lizardfolk. These cold blooded stalkers of the swamp prowl their territory with unmatched ferocity and efficiency. Many families have attempted to invade Keeper land in order to acquire the yellow clay that is harvested from the muck pools, but the few that had any access were eventually driven back by the swamps themselves. The keepers rule the swamp in no small part because they are the only ones able to survive it.
