Lord Caspian Rein

Lord Caspian Rein was the eldest son and heir to Lord Rånyolf Rein. Caspian was a renowned blade-master and commander during The Three Days War, though he would meet his end during the final months of the conflict at The Destruction of Merryhall.

Youth

Caspian was born during the seventh moon of the year 444 AGW to Lord Rånyolf Rein and the Lady Lyanne Doscav. During his youth Caspian would show great talent in the use of the blade and possessed a sharp mind. He would spend equal time learning the blade and studying ancient tomes searching for forgotten tactics he could share with his father. Caspian had a very close relationship with his two brothers, whom he would create a great deal of mischief with leading to his parents giving their group the affectionate nickname of the "Three Bandits." During his youth Caspian would meet and befriend Careem Stormsword and Castamere Vårin’son, both of whom he would become incredibly close to, even accompanying them during the inciting incident of The Three Days War While Caspian did indeed hold talent for the blade, his original goal in life would be to become a member of The Ældars, though this dream would burnt into ash with his family during Carter's Scourge.

The Fire

Caspian was fifteen years old during the winter solstice of 435, fifteen when his family was killed inside of that church at the hands of Carter Bowmen. Only Caspian and his younger brother Issac survived the carnage that was wrought that day and both of them agreed that they would take their vengeance on the man that had taken everything from them.

Legacy

Caspian is survived by his brother Issac and friends Careem and Castamere. In honour of Caspian, Castamere adopted the title of Red Wolf after his comrades death, even integrating it into his personal arms. While Caspian is no longer alive to fulfil his oath to his brother, the vow of vengeance shared between the pair still ring true in the ears of Issac Rein.
