Throm Stoneborn
Throm is a dwarven sorcerer and warrior who carries the blessing of the Mother Stone.
As the scion of the respected Ilithian clan Stoneborn, Throm was destined for greatness from long before his first whisker. Few among the dwarves are worthy to bare the unique blessings of the Mother Stone, a mysterious entity who grants her followers mastery over the ground beneath their feet.
Bold and industrious even in youth, Throm often worked the Dol Darun mines that his family owned. It was during one such excursion that he found himself caught in a bloody duergar raid. Summoning the strength of the Mother Stone, he rallied the workers and repelled the attack. Having shown his true calling as a warrior, Throm left the Ilithian mines to alter the course of history.
His accolades are numerous: Viceroy of Hilltop, Knight of Rennfreid, and Vanguard of the Champions of Blackfriar, to name a few.
Among his compatriots, Throm is known to be the boldest. Even in the most dire circumstance, Throm is the first to throw himself into the thick of a fight, taunting the enemy and laughing all the while. He derives a special pleasure from placing himself in situations where he is vastly outnumbered.
Along with his martial prowess, he is a powerful spellcaster. When sufficiently threatened, Throm can grow large enough to wrestle a hill giant into submission. Some have even begun referring to him as "Throm of Many Sizes," "Giantkin Throm," or simply "Bigbig Throm."
