Nak'Shyr

Nak'Shyr are the humans that escaped Mordred’s forced transformation by first changing themselves with the help of Vlakis, an Ancient. They fused with Vizier blood, gaining two small nubs atop their brow that aren't even horns, and slightly longer canine teeth. Their eyes can be red, deep blue, gold, green, or an icy blue. These are the primary kingdoms that face off against the Tek during and before the events of the novel Unworthy. Nak'Shyr nobles are just like human nobles were. Full of themselves and believing they are better than the masses. This is why Mordred must assimilate them, and why the Black God kinda doesn't like having to ally with them. (The Nak’Shyr had the spell to save themselves ready in advance, as it would save them from being consumed by the ones casting the spell to kill all humans.) (They brought many commoners with them into the Nak’Shyr transformation because they needed to keep their societies functioning with farmers and traders and the like.)
