Cain Lilithson-Owens
Cain is a tiefling who managed to manipulate Arcane Relics to the extent where he was corrupted by the magic and became a lich. Since the destruction of Old Barovia, he has been locked in Amber Temple by the demon Narrian.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Even in his lich form, Cain is a lean able-bodied tiefling. He has sturdy horns, following the shape of his head, coming out of his forehead then curling up just a little above the top of his head, with his hair all mixed up in it and lacks a tiefling tail.
Apparel & Accessories
Cain owns so many belts. Many many belts. The belt with the Mark of Lilith, the Raven Queen belt from a wraith named Ezra, and the Mark of Abel belt. Red gem earring as his spellcasting focus, aasimar armour, and his cloak of many styles. In his lich form, he no longer wears armour, only a pair of tight-fitting jeans with chains hanging from them and a loose muscle tank, exposing the sides of his torso. He also rarely wears underwear.

Personal history
When a new sorcerer enters the world, either at birth or later when one's power becomes evident, the consequences of that event depend greatly on how its witnesses react to what they have seen. Cain was thrown out of his tiefling village at a young age after accidentally injuring some of the elders when they were trying to teach magic. Cain's powers caused destruction and even a death when they became evident, and he was treated as a criminal. He was never truly accepted anywhere as a tiefling and thus travelled from place to place.

Cain is an accomplished enchanter, fairly good at strategy, though he can be unwilling to trust in the power of himself and his party, preferring to rely on magical items when possible even if it's not necessarily wise to do so.

The illegitimate son of Lilith and Asmodeus, Lilith was forced to keep her relationship with him a secret by both Asmodeus and Lucifer. Only upon the deaths of both men could Lilith tell Cain the truth.
