Castle Ravenloft

Castle Ravenloft was built atop the ruin of an older fortress by artisans, wizards, and workers loyal to Strahd's family. Count Strahd von Zarovich rewarded the castle's genius architect, Artimus, with a crypt in the castle's catacombs. The castle was named after Strahd's mother, Ravenovia, who also lies entombed below. After the defeat of Strahd and the destruction of Old Barovia, Koko rules over the Shadowed Vale from the castle.

Architecture

The architecture of the castle is largely gothic, with vampiric designs built around the entirety of the building.
