King Connerad Brawnanvil

Connerad Brawnanvil is the king of Salzenstadt. Like Ontharr Frume of the Order of the Gauntlet, Connerad responds well to bold demonstrations of heroism. However, he is personally and deeply insulted by any slight against dwarves or intrusions by the characters into dwarven affairs. His reactions to the adventurers' exploits determine how he votes in the fourth council.

Tyranny of Dragons

After the Siege of Salzenstadt, Brawnanvil and his people had to retreat from their home, Salzenstadt City, through the mountain to the Ice Kingdom. Frostessa the Vile apprehended him and after time in custody, allowed him to take a ship westward along the coast to escape to the Highfields. Brawnanvil acts rashly when he finally gets to the Council of Waterdeep, desperate and reckless in his need to take revenge for what happened to his home.
