Bronzehold

Demographics

Most of the population have some connection to either the mines themselves or a craft, usually some form of metalworking.

Defences

The dwarven architecture leads to tall, sturdy walls surrounding each of the city's districts.

Industry & Trade

The main exports from Bronzehold are items made from bronze, copper, tin, or stone. They also often export ingots of the various metals mined or forged here.

Infrastructure

Much of the architecture has bronze or copper worked in, because of the mines' abundance of copper and tin. Because of the large number of dwarves that have settled here, the architecture takes on heavy dwarven influence.

Districts

Bronze hold is split into four major districts; the mining district, the forge district, the residential district, and the upper district.    The Mining district is mainly inhabited by the lowest class and the mine overseers. Most of the housing consists communes where the lowest classes live together. These communes can be found near mine entrances or within the upper levels. They hold anywhere from 5 to 15 families. The overseers mainly consist of dwarves. Many carts of copper and tin ore can be seen exiting this district and entering the next.   The next district is the Forge district. It is mainly inhabited by the working classes. Most artisans, metalworkers, and other craftsman can be found here. The copper and tin ore from the Mining district are forged into bronze and later shaped into mostly mechanical parts or jewelry. Most of the dwarves in Bronzehold choose to live here.   The third district is the residential district, in which a majority of merchants and non-dwarven middle class live. Many of the shops and taverns of Bronzehold can be found in the residential district.   The upper district consists of the richest of Bronzehold as well as the lord's manor. Most adventurers that end up settling in Bronzehold, find homes in the upper district.

Natural Resources

The deep mines beneath the outer city contain both copper and tin ores. The mining also leads to loose stone and various gems.
