Eight From One Beginning Home

Overview

This is the First Family, it remains very small with only 7 known princes in the kingdom.
The leader of the family is the High King position of the Kharazad People. It is a position held by the direct descendants of the original first family of the Dwarves. The high king, being the High King of Kharazad is Summit Holder Mneseos (Μνησέας) Mithrilsplitter, the Primal Lord of the Eight Peak Throne. He is the younger, twin brother of the Elder Prince Autokhthon (αὐτόχθών).

Prince Autokhthon, the First Power, chooses to live free from the mundane management of the kingdoms, preferring to adventure. No one has seen him for at least five years. But he was rumored to have last been seen on the Aeolian Archipelago.

Beginning Home is translated as origin place or Mountain Root.

Interpretation

The Hammer refers to the forging of metal, the axe is the same as the statement and the mountain peaks represent the three first families - with the peak of the mountain sigil being an open crater to symbolise the Fires from which the Dwarves sprang and seek to master in their forges.

The twin peaks of the crest represent the twin kings. The Four internal peaks of the top tiers represent the second generation, the external 6 peaks represent the first two generations of the Dwarves. The total of eight peaks - including the internal ones represent the first three generations and their links to the mountains.
