Lumin L
Anan-Limus Lumin , The Fiftieth
He was the fiftieth Anan-Limus, the descendants of the first prophet of Luumism a thousand years ago. Born and raised in Lumus, he was believed to have the power of the Luum, the god of destruction, with nothing to prove that he has it.
Nevertheless, considered that he was also the fiftieth protector of the Temple of Luum, the Luumist's sarced place, as well as the fiffieth-four ruler of the city itself, technically, he has the absolute power of Luum.
Day 29
The people here was very welcoming. It was less crowd than Duris, for sure. The lifestype is a bit advanced yet simple, and I found reminents of Durnis everywhere. It kindly remind me of Valone. However, I was skeptical about the leader here. He seemed to interest Casto in particular after he realized somebody from the far-away land could read a thousand years old documents that never be brought outside the city. He said he needed to discuss first with Casto in the temple. We might have found out the answer about the artifact tomorrow. I hoped the god is on our side. We need to find it, the city needed us... No. The kingdom needed us.
Physical Description
Specialized Equipment
He always hold the Staff of Luum, a mythical artefact, to whenever he perform rituals. He was the symbol of hope inside the city.
Mental characteristics
Employment
The prophet lived inside the Temple of Luum, the place containing holy relics, locating around the city center in front of The Shrine of Luum. He led the weekly worship of Limm and Luum every Wednesday. He also greeted the pilgrims whoever found the city either by stranded in the jungle, or guided by the Jungle navigator hired from the sister town Duris. Along with apprentices, his recorded and maintained the archive of them visiting.
Do you know the people like you used to come here? It's long before I was born.
Intellectual Characteristics
Like his ancestors, he was the only one who knew the actual origin of the staff, if not, the whole religion. Thanks to the unchanged cipher language, he could read and write all documents including the oldest one - The God's Prints, which was thousand years as old as the religion itself.
Failures & Embarrassments
He blamed himself for the invasion of Krin in 20 BVE. The major hostile intruders since forever just to find the Power Stone[spoiler]. Despite manahed to clean the situation, he was disrespected by some in the community, even though later on he regained the reputation.
I am greatly sorry. In the name of Luum, it is unfortunately that I cannot give you the power of Luum. It may fix your home's problem, but it was too dangerous to be used by those who I never met.
Later Life
He died in 5 VE by natural cause, which then his son inherited the title of Anan-Lumus called Lumin LI.
The Great Receiptor
The fiftieth Lumin became the significent figure in the Luumist temple. His longavity allowed him to perform the once-in-a-lifetime ritual called "The Luum's Visit" in which can only perform once in a hundred years, where Limm and Luum visitted down the earth meeting their creations and if unlucky, punishing those who misbehaved - in a form of a comet.
The ritual was performed in 0 VE according to Valonus Calendar.
Did the era change because of the ritual, or was it a coincidence? :D He sounds like a very interesting character. I feel sad he feels guilty about the invasion of Krin. :(
Explore Etrea
It's a coincidence, I think. By the time the ritual was performed, it's the same time at the other side of the continent the Valonian army marching toward the Empire of Kritus' capital, Knirk, to capture the last remnant of the old, declining empire and established the new one - the Valonia Empire. It might believed the siege happened during the comet sight which I'm not sure but it sound cool :D
Come visits Terraloga and the story of a fictional Ancient Roman trying to rule the world.
Very cinematic! :D
