Lumus

Lumus is the isolated town located on the northwest of South Estisia, hidden by the Jungle of the Myst. If you considered the jungle as their territory, then Lumus is the capital. Lumus is known as the holy city of Luumism, which believed to be found by the descendants of Limm, the goddess of life and the former mortal.

Demographics

The main inhabitants in Lumus is the variation of Durni but with less tribal and more luxury.

Government

The town is ruled by the religious family is believed to be the remaining descendants of Limm much like their citizens. The current king is Anan-Limus Lumin LI, who also the current head of religion.

Tourism

There are hardly to get in but as a holy city, many pilgrims is willing to seek and give it a visit. They usually hires Durnis, probably from Duris, to navigate them thoughtout the jungle.

Many had become faithful and follow the religion since - even some choose to stay here. Some may bring the religion back to their home, as what Ikanos the Conqueror did. However, it wasn't only the good person but the bad as well, as what Arvarus The Hunter did, by claiming many lifes in the town raiding in 20 BVE. Since then the city take less tourists and become fearful.

Architecture

Most of habitats are built of stone, wood and clay. It has a second floor that always dry compared to a mossy ground floor. The reinforced wooden walls is built around the town, with a few guards at the main gate.

Religion Center

At the center of town, near temple, there is a tall monument called The Shrine of Luum, where people go worshiping their god to protect the town. The design is very clean and somehow became an inspiration for the Tower of Eternal Light, in which the rumor said that Valonian's architect was very belief in Lumus's religion and wanted to spread it to his hometown.

Geography

Lumus is located on the plain surrounded by the jungle. Since the town is by the shore of the Redband River, freshwater never deplete - except for the massive flood that happen once every two months.
