Luum
The Birth and The Curse
Luum is the god of death; everything he touches it die.
Luum is the god of darkness; everywhere he goes it turns cold.
Luum is the god of destruction; Everywhere he stand it collapse.
But you know when he isn't him?
When he found Limm.
Divine Domains
Many of his entities relate to the negative matter in nature. He represents death, shadow, chaos, and matter. He mostly associate with night, wars, battles, funeral, and drought.
He always has an aggressive personality, but to Limm, he is very loyal. He never hurt Limm. In return, she give him back loyalty back and so her power shares within him. Combining them altogether, he can be also the symbol of bond and love longavity.
Morality & Philosophy
Despite causing death upon realms, his by-product results in a creation of the opposite. Every decomposed creatures turn to dirt that make plants grow - the life, and too much of light can cause plants to wilth - the death. This fact has been discussed for very long time whether if the god has to have the morality extreme or not. The meaning of him is still arguable.
Physical Description
Apparel & Accessories
His physicality depend on geography variations. In Krin-Valonian beliefs, he look like those in their traditional pantheon - A muscle man with curvy hair and wear toga. In original Luumism however, he has a skinny shape who wear tattered cloak.
The Staff of Luum
It was believed that a fracture of Luum's divine power has been possessed into the holy staff. It was maintain and protected by Anan-Limus, the prophet of the Luumism. Only the true descendants of the Luumism can pick the staff. The true staff is believed to be placed somewhere inside the Temple of Luum inside Lumus.
During the night, everyone nearby has a chance to see a purple light coming out from it, meaning that even though a thousand years has passeed, the staff still contains the power of the god.
Sorry for the double like! I love his backstory. It is sad, but I like that he learnt that there is good even in the worst places.
