The Merciwyne City Council

Structure

Department of Coin - responsible for overseeing the finances and the operations of the banks within the city, as well as all taxes, tithes, and debts.
Department of Justice - The Iron Guard, The Militia, the force of law and order within and around the city. Upholds the established laws, and holds those accountable who break the law. Includes soldiers, watchmen, judges, jailers, executioners, etc.
Department of Agriculture - Responsible for the oversight of the farms, crops, and food stocks in and around the city, as well as livestock and wildlife management.
Department of Commerce and Industry - Responsible for the oversight of all shops, businesses and other establishments, trade with other guilds, factions and cities. Works closely with the Department of Coin.
Department of Housing - Oversight of commercial and private properties, titles and deeds, land borders and acreages, affairs of veterans
Department of Education - Primarily concerned with The Adventurer's Academy, as it is the largest known educational facility in Central Hasdall
The Church - Provides multi-denominational faith opportunities as well as apothecarial services, post-mortem ritual and afterlife care

Public Agenda

The Merciwyne City Counsil operates in service to The Duke of Merciwyne, and its citizens. The council operates with the best interests of the people and the city as a whole in mind.
