The War Against the Shadowlord - The Crystal Mother's Forest

The Imperial Legions sail to Crystal Mother's Forest to fight against the armies of the Shadowlord. They have several large battles over the two years the Imperial Legions are there and many skirmishes. The final battle was the Battle of Rose.

The Shadowlord had been growing in strength for some time, establishing his domain in the Crystal Mother's Forest. He had all but conquered the coast of the Forest, including the cities of Rose, Thorn, and Aerenburg. He threatened the Tribes of the Iron Mountain Tribes and many of those in the Northern Jungles of Kar'ack. The Empress sent her legions to the northeast, claiming it imperative that he be removed from his seat of power. The Chosen Bonecollector, the Huntsman and Shadewalker were sent along with the Legions to ensure the success.   The Battle of Rose was the final battle where the Legions and mercenaries met the Shadowlord's monstrous army on the field. They were victorious, but the Shadowlord fled and retreated to his domains along the Great Scar.
