Balthazar

While on the externior Balthazar gives of an air of laidback easy goingness: resentment for what was lost burns deep within him. He seeks the means and ways to reclaim what was taken from him and reestablish his prestige.

Before Primrose

Balthazar left Elvenium at a very young age. His parents were nervous of the chaoticly brewing political climate in the wake of the return of the Eternal King to the mortal plane. They ended up in one of the many elven enclaves on the western coast of Pierce . Balthazar spent his early days studying under the Bladesong Master Milerond of Elgarest. But the simple life was not in the cards for the wanderlust filled Balthazar and he eventually ended up on one of the many pirate ships that lurked the waters of the Reinhart Sea.   It wasnt too long before Balthazar had a ship and crew of his own. Whether it be simple smuggling, or outright piracy, he built up quite a cconsiderable name for himself and The Greydeck. However, at some point his crew ousted Balthazar via mutiny, robbing him of not only his ship, but also his prestige. The loss of status did not furlogh Balthazar for long, as he endeavored to find a way to recover the Greydeck. Perfume Bay was a city of opportunties, and he took them anytime he could. The lead to him and his skillset be observed by an individual looking for talented individuals for a dangerous contract.

Primrose Campaign

While in Platzburg Balthazar bumped into a former crewmate of his named Tithie. Tithie had been a cabinboy but was now heavily scar'd both physically and seemingly emotionally as he drowned his sorrows in drink. From him, Balthazar learned the ringleader, Harazhad brought on a new right--hand man named Falstagg. The new rule was cruel and bloodthirsty, and the ship begun indulging in violent barbaric raiding. He saw some dark and twisted stuff on the boat. Eventually, he was kicked out for being too soft. Last he heard, ship was on its way to Perfume Bay to take care of some business.   During the groups business with Aerwyen Galandol-Marivald , Balthazar learns Milerond has actually moved to Vexlorn and Wyen suggests he seek him out to catchup with the old man.   From Pel and Diero Balthazar learns the Greydeck had stopped in Perfume Bay for a bit, but left soon after. However, rumors persist someone left the ship and did not return. Diero suggests Balthazar seek our Bartaz of The Morgenthau's who may have meet with the mysterious figure.   In Vexlorn Balthazar tracks down, and talks with Bartaz who reveals he did meet this man; Falstagg. He came to Bartaz hoping to buy a family heirloom. Bartaz knowing the transaction would never happen, sent off the strangers with vague notions of asking around. Now, Bartaz hints there is more to this story, but asks Balthazar to help him with something for a bit of old fashion Pro-Quid-Pro. He ask Balthazar to sneak into a The Vogelreiter's warehouse and find evidence of what cargo ghost shipment was carrying. Inside, Balthazar finds out the cargo was a large stockpile of weapons and arcane components; very illegal; and done so for someone named Anja. With the information learned, Bartaz unveils the additional info; the heirloom is actually an artifact of Krex Weiberknochen; known as the False-Emperor and Falstagg was seen outside of town meeting with a woman in black leather.
