Dragon Marked Ly'yzir

As a young prodigy in the clan, whose ancestry is tied directly to their ancient clan father, Ly'yzir was beloved and admired. Having a direct bloodline he was blessed with powerful magic at an early age. Growing up he excelled at his practices of sorcery and was taught to fight with the fire and ferociousness of dragons. Quickly he was chosen by The Circle to complete his task and receive his Dragonmark. He was tasked with heading into the mountains and finding valuable gemstones to offer up to Darastrix. Taking about a year to complete this task, he returned and was rewarded with his Dragonmark and with keeping one of the red gemstones for himself. He wears this around his neck and uses it as his arcane focus. Now Marked he was tasked with heading into Aomori and trying to gain favor and influence for clan and master.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Fairly average sized human male with long red hair tied and down his back. His Dragonmark is the symbol of a curled dragon burned into the palm of his hand. He typically wears gloves to conceal it in public. Typically in a long coat with clan clothing depicting draconic imagery underneath.

Loyal to, and receives instruction from, his red dragon master Barb Darastrix, The Ancient Fire. An Ancient Dragon that lived through The Destruction and has been mostly left to rule his territories. He longs for the days of all things being under Draconic rule. He's taken interest in the cities of Oniyuri and asks his followers to travel there gaining treasures, followers, territory, and all around increase his own influence over the region. He's also particularly interested in finding other dragons who share the same values or vision of the future.

Family Ties

Ly'yzir is committed to the Dragonmarked Clan. He will always receive aid from any of the members. They have access to long recorded dragon history but keep it mostly hidden from the outside world. Their eldest ancestors made a pact with Darastrix for some of his draconic power, in exchange they've indebted themselves to him. They are small, about 200 people, but there is a hierarchy. You have the Un-Marked, Marked, and The Circle of Ancient Fire, which oversee the clan and communication with Barb Darastrix. They are moderately advanced and have an ancient history dating back to pre-destruction. Barb Darastix has helped them to retain memory and record of events related to the clan's history. However most of this detailed information is only learned through intensive study and kept almost exclusively within The Circle of Ancient Fire. Un-Marked, or clan members that have yet to earn their Dragonmark, are generally dedicating to their studies and practice of magic. Honing their skills until chosen by The Circle, the Un-Marked will have to complete a difficult task to gain their Dragonmark. Marked clan members have completed their task and earned their mark. They are regarded as Barb Darastrix's chosen and aid him in whatever he or the clan need.

There are a consistent number of Circle members, each choosing their successor after their death.
