Thundering Lands
The Thundering Lands is located in the south of the The Troubled Abyss in between the Continents of Drakma and Aibuan. The Island has been a source of conflict between the Kraterocracy of Drakma and the Kingdom of Leone over the strategic placement of the Island and its resources.
Geography
The Outside Ring of the Island is mostly covered in thick Jungle. The Jungle then transitions into a ring of Mountains that encircle the center of the island except for 9 rivers that flow from the center. The Interior of the island is mostly hilly plains except the large volcano in the very middle of the island.
Ecosystem Cycles
The Amphibians of the Island starts their breeding season a month before the beginning of the Wet season to the end of the Wet season. Most of the other creatures of the Island, their breeding season is in the Dry season.
Localized Phenomena
When the Wet Season starts a localized Hurricane forms and stays for the entirety of the 5 month wet season.

Dry Season:
- The Outside ring of the Island is on average 80-95°F(26.6-35°C). The monthly average Rainfall is 2-3in(5.08-7.62cm).
- The Mountain Range is on average 40-60°F(4.4-15.5°C). There is no Snowfall during Dry season.
- The Center of the Islands is on average 70-90°F(21.1-32.2°C). The monthly average Rainfall is .2-.9in(.508-2.286cm).
- The Outside ring of the Island is on average 60-80°F(15.5-26.6°C). The monthly average Rainfall is 360-660in(914.4-1,676.4cm).
- The Mountain Range is on average -10-30°F(-23.3- -1.1°C). The monthly average Snowfall is 12-24in(30.48-60.96cm). With some Blizzards dropping as much as 8ft(2.43m) of snow.

Fauna & Flora
Flora
- Blood-Teak Tree: Are a tree native to The Thundering Lands that have a profuse effect on Mosquitos, Vampires, and Lycanthropes. The effected creatures are repelled by its smell to about 150ft(45.72m). The Tree gets its name from its vibrant Crimson leaves. It is cultivated by many of the tribes in The Thundering Lands.
- Beelzebufo: This large Frog can grow to the size of 3ft(.914m) long, 6ft(1.828m) with legs extended. They tend to be kept as pets by Dinosaur Eating Tarantulas because of their preferred diet of ants. Their colors can vary from green to brown.
- Compys: These small, bipedal, carnivorus Dinosaur can grow to the length of 2-3ft(.6-.914m). They tended to prefer to eat insects or to scavenge of the kills of other creatures. They also really like to eat unripened fruits of a species of coffee tree native to the Island. It was later found to be able to be harvested to make a fancy coffee.
- Dinosaur Eating Tarantulas: These huge spiders can grow to the length of 20ft(6.096m). They tend to hide in abandoned burrows during the day and hunt at night. They keep Beelzebufo as pets to keep their burrows from being overrun by ants.
History
The Island was created by a large Meteor Strike. The Volcano in the Center of the Island was going to strike there but a wizard who was residing there slowed it down.
Tourism
Most of the ones that usually travel to the island are paid to be there, if not they are there to hunt the massive creatures of the island.
