The Eighth Point
The Eighth Point is less of an order and more of warrior lodge of the best fighters in the Empire. To earn the patch of the Eighth Point is a great honor. Only the most elite of the Imperial Military become members of the Eighth Point. Earning the Patch - as it is known - is a dream to any fighting man in the Final Empire. From here, the warrior can expect anything from promotion to the Imperial Guard, possible lordship or a comfortable retirement to be captain of a personal guard.
The Eighth Point is only open to fighters and not mages and status or politics cannot buy anyone entry in.

Structure
The Eighth Point is overseen by eight devout priests of the Eight - particularly those who favor the Warrior. They asses service records and hold tournaments to determine who should be admitted into their ranks.
There are no ranks or leaders; those who are in are in are simply in.

Culture
The only true requirement of members of the Eighth Point is that they must defend the Empire should it be invaded. Beyond that patched members provide each other aid as best they can.
