Astrea

Astrea is the goddess of Astrea, Moon, the second moon of Tethys. She is mainly worshipped by creatures of the night, more prominently by Werecreatures as they receive many powers when Astrea is in full moon, while Asta is in twilight. Other humanoids gain powers thanks to the shadowy goddess.

History

Astrea, as well as her sister Asta, came to existence during the Third Age, Kingdoms. However, unlike her sister, Astrea didn't have a moon counterpart. Due to some unforeseen consequences, when the Sunlord decided to awaken Asta, the Moon, he also awoken Astrea and a new moon appeared as well - Astrea, Moon. She resents her sister and from that point on fought against her every chance she could have. There are tales of Werecreatures that follow Astrea that would raid shrines and temples of her sister. Many would speculate that Asta and Astrea are the same person (or a moon) and like other werecreatures, it just her other nature.

Relationships with other Gods

Astrea sees the Sunlord and Asta as her enemies, while Thea is like a mother she never had. She knows the goddess of Tethys is trying to breach the gap of animosity, so she isn't so easily swayed. She allies herself with other gods of shadows, however, she declines any alliance for the moment.
