Asta

Asta is the goddess of moon of the same name. Her worshippers believe in bringing light (moonlight) during the nights as sharing her blessing. Many good Werecreatures follow Asta, while the majority of that kind is evil and follows her sister. Clerics pray during the twilight and fight against creatures of the night.

History

Many creatures worshipped the moon of Tethys called Asta. However, for some unknown reason, she never came to become a goddess (an Idol to be exact). This changed when the Sunlord decided to act in the Third Age, Kingdoms awakening the goddess from her slumber. Something went wrong. A red moon appeared behind Asta, a new moon - Astrea and both goddesses awoke at the same time. Asta and Astrea. The amosity between the twins quickly became apparent and a small war between the worshippers began. Many druids of the night would follow Asta, while werecreatures and more destructive druids would follow Astrea instead. Asta would work diligently to stop the spread of darkness using her moonlight, while Astrea would bring only the eternal, bloody night. Those that make the thesis that Asta and Astrea are the same person are quickly shut down by the worshippers of Asta, as they won't believe something so heinous would be inside their goddess.

Dogma

  • Bring forth the moonlight to shine a way in the darkness
  • The darkest corners bring only folly, be prepared for the night
  • Revel in the moonlight, as this is the moment to share your love with loved ones
  • Relationships with other Gods

Asta works closely with the Sunlord in his court - Court of Sol, while being close to Thea, which she believes to be her mother. She despises Astrea with all her heart as well as other gods of darkness, seeing them as enemies.
