Crescent of Asta Mountains

There is a tale that Asta, Moon was once bigger during the First Age, The Titan War. However, when the war ended in a disaster, a part of her fell to Tethys creating the Crescent of Asta Mountains. The mountains lock the Great Pasch Desert, making the air in that region more dry, while on the outside (east and south) creating jungles and marshes. Long ago, during the Third Age, Kingdoms and Fourth Age, The Calamity, they were home to many dwarven nations of magic. Suddenly, the dwarves went missing and only a handful survived (Osor-aroth), mystified by what transpired.
