Great White

Great White is a gentle reminder of far greater dangers of the sea, that lurk beneath the waves. As the patron of sea creatures, the intelligent ones worship him out of fear as well as those on the land. Clerics of the Great White never leave his side and are all aquatic in nature. They enact his will upon ships, sailors or other creatures of the depths.  

History

The story begins with a dwarf named Herbak Stonevillage, a great merchant of the Third Age, Kingdoms, before the seas open up due to advancement in sail manufacture. He amassed a fleet of over twenty ships and his little armada was destroyed by a single creature he called the "Great White." He spent nearly two hundred years hunting the creature down, losing his sight, right leg and hand. He died fighting the creature, which destroyed another fleet of his during their last battle. After that, people more remembered the whale than the dwarf. The sea creatures bowed to his greatness and the animal soon gained intelligence and became a Demigod.
