Isle of Vegoyan

While actually two islands, the Isle of Vegoyan was once the seat of power for human civilization in the Second Age, Godswar, when the continent of Archeron didn't split. They had a close relationship with the elven empire to the east and were the most advanced human nation of that age. However, the world shattered, and the northern part of the continent was destroyed but not all of with. While most went underwater, some were "flung" north. The Isle of Vegoyan became their new home. Sadly, they didn't survive for long, as the Giants of that region took over the island for themselves. For millennia, the island helps ships travel between continent of Sailan and the Old World.
