Archeron
Archeron was a wildland during the Second Age, Godswar. Two nations were built here. One belonging to the humans that tried to escape the war and hid in the northern parts of the continent, while the other kingdom belonged to the elves. It was here that the elves were at their height, magic-wise and civilization-wise too. The dragons tried many times during The Elder War to destroy them and had to use deceit to strike a powerful blow, shattering parts of the continent. The northern part drifted away and became part of the Lands of Storm, while the elven kingdom was no more, those that barely survived were on the Elven Lands, islands east of the continent. For centuries in the Third Age, Kingdoms, these lands wouldn't be colonized. Those that would come here were mainly criminals, magic users who were prosecuted (or would be prosecuted) for their experiments. Over time, the continent was synonymous with hermit wizards and while many nations here tried to take control, none ever did come close. That was until the coming of the Archadian Empire which turned the crippling reputation of the continent into the greatest place to exist. Magitech revolutionized the world and the empire became the strongest of all, surpassing even the Divine Empire, Jadeite Empire or Venland. However, as their magic, flying cities, arcane machinery grew in strength, they were oblivious to the fact they were infiltrated by the Divine Hollow. The great empire fell, untold millions died and at the end of the Fourth Age, The Calamity, the continent mysteriously shattered. What remains of the continent is the Archeon Islands.
