Monstrous Race: Goblin

Goblins are small goblinoids that many considered little more than a nuisance. They have flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, and small, sharp fangs. Their foreheads slope back, and their eyes vary in color from red to yellow. Their skin color ranged from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red; usually, all members of the same tribe shared the same colored skin, though they also came in shades of green. There are many subraces of the goblin race but they vary mostly in their personalities and some appearance changes. Many historians speculate it is due to their rapid growth, breeding, and strife that there are so many different variations.   While their destructive, baby-hungry and greedy nature is prevalent, it wasn't so in the Second Age, Godswar. They were created by the Devils as a race of workers, which explains their low life expectancy and nimbleness. They crafted many weapons for their masters but quickly fell out of favor for the Tieflings. The race escaped their tyrants and ran into the Celestials, which was something the Devils planned all along. Suddenly in the jungles of the Celestials, the goblin race lost its quickwittenes and descended into savagery. This was by design as the Archdevil Dantanian planned all along for these little pesky monsters to run amok in the northern lands. Instead of killing all of them, as they couldn't waste that much time, they used magic to scatter the race all around the world, diminishing the problem for themselves. Millenia would past and the goblins would become the fathers of many new goblinoid races like Hobgoblins and others.

On Tethys

There are little to no goblin civilizations. Maybe some exist in the Undertethys. Mainly tribes live on the surface and wreck havoc in nearby towns and villages. Some more intelligent goblins try their luck in civilization, only to become hunted down most of the time. Those that succeed might find work in the underbelly of cities as thieves or assassins.

First World

The Goblins of the First World were once Gnomes. The father of giants needed armies to fight against the human invaders, thus he mixed the blood of gnomes to create the greenish horde. They were unruly and turned on their creator.
