Osh'Atir Mountains

Osh'Altir means "The Great Barrier" Mountains in Elven. Any travel through them is very risky due to the jungles and monsters that still roam the lands. This makes land travel to Riverlands a tricky journey, which is why most people travel by sea to reach that region. The Great Barrier also helped the Elves during the Third Age, Kingdoms, as very few travellers visited the Riverlands, making it ideal for the Elves to make it a stop on their journey to the Elven Lands as they wanted this to be hidden as long as possible.
