Ottaheimen

Ottaheimen was mostly uninhabitated during the Third Age, Kingdoms. The most notable were the ports around the coast and major dragonborn tribes in the Nordryggen Mountains. The latter would bide their time as they wanted to the Malaren Lakes but the ancient Vendel had a hard grip over the region. It wasn't until the Fourth Age, The Calamity as the ports were destroyed, the people in mountains (as well as some earth genasi and goliaths), were able to survive the longest, so when the Fifth Age, Current Age came, they took what was left behind and bought up the rest, creating the nations of Draconia and Rokantar.
