Oxantia

Oxantia is steered by Dragonborn Paladins of the Gilded Hand. The kingdom works with its neighbors, fighting monsters that might come for the Grandeur Inland region. People of Oxantia feel happy to live in the nation but sometimes feel that the Dragonborns have a too heavy finger on their issues and most of the population are non-Dragonborns. The kingdom works closely with Albersberg.

History

During the Fifth Age, Current Age, when the Post-Calamity Era was wreaking havoc in the world, there was a group of Dragonborns that helped whomever they could. Most of their deeds were done in the Duchy of Oxan, long ago belonged to the Divine Empire. After the green returned, many people survived the harsh realities, thanks to the paladins. Due to their deeds, they were seen as heroes and many statues were built. While the region was, many times, in turmoil, Dragonborns would show up to help the innocent and thus a local order of the Gilded Hand called Order of the Gilded Scale was founded. Their influence grew in the kingdom, bringing peace to all. Over the two centuries, this grew to its highest point that the kings became puppets, listening to all the paladins said. Only about two decades after The Second Divergence, the king abdicated and his royal family, granting rulership to the paladins, to the cheers of the people.
