Trondheim

The great nation of Fire Giants. A very secluded nation, who mainly trades with Djun and other people of Seljuk. They hold a stron grip on the Nar'Atar Mountains against the Red Dragons. They do have other races working them in Trondheim and sometimes offer mercenary work (or request it to fight the dragons).

History

Founded after the First Age, The Titan War, it is one of the longest existing nation, which survived many disasters. However, it never was uninterrupted. There were centuries when Trondheim was wiped from the map and it is due to the Red Dragons that saw the Nar'Atar Mountains as their ideal living grounds. The many volcanos create an ideal breeding place for the ancient race so they war over it with the giants for millennia. Last time the giants lost control was during the Fourth Age, The Calamity, when a group of dragons worked with the Divine Hollow and murdered their leaders. Defeated, it took them many centuries to drive the dragons back and retake their lands. In recent years, Trondheim still isn't fully restored. They gather mercenaries from other countries to do their dirty work against the dragons, trade their resources, and warriors to gain leverage against the scaly ones. It will take many decades, if not centuries before the country will return to its former glory.
