Djun

The people of Djun are the great descendants of Seljuk and his empire, or at least that's what they will say about themselves. They didn't give up on their lands and rebuilt their nation in a new way, founding the Pashdom of Djun. The Great Pash leads his people and whatever he says is holy. While most of the population isn't very religious on this issue, they love trading and this allowed them to become a major exporter of black powder. Many speculate that this might bring another Great Scourge.

History

Long ago, in the Third Age, Kingdoms, there were many tribes of humans living in the Great Pasch Desert. One man was able to unite them, Seljuk the Mighty. The warlord founded his own empire in the desert, naming it after himself - the Seljuk Empire. After the conquest, he felt his wanderlust calling to him and accidentally teleported himself to the wrong plane and wandered into the Fable Realm, where he played and won against Lord Gensha. When he returned, he saw his nation in a depressing state, civil unrest, and war, collapsing cities, and corruption everywhere. Once again he took up his sword and did the impossible, uniting the desert a second time. During his travels, he would tell unbelievable stories about the Fable Realm and unbeknownst to him, this turned his people into the new humans, now called, the Seljuks. After his death, it took many centuries for their empire to crumble and it started with the Black Powder that they invented. When the Fourth Age, The Calamity came, the empire was already a crumbling mess and it didn't need more to finally fall. The nation of Djun is comprised of the descendants of the Seljuk Empire that in the Fifth Age, Current Age decided not to go with the groups that wanted to leave the Great Pasch Desert, going north and living a nomadic life. They wanted to rebuild what was lost. Over the next generations, they were able to recover many cities, some still under the great desert. They've become a major player in world trade, especially selling black powder guns and cannons, which made them the biggest exporter of this good in the world.
