The Gryphons
The Gryphons originally started out as a group of mercenaries led by Hyperion. Upon their first time traveling amongst the allied nations they were hired by Teutonia to fight alongside them for the weekend. So impressed with the Gryphons fighting ability Drusus Scarro offered them a permeant home within Teutonia.
Not long after it was discovered that Hyperion was the distant relative to the Lord of Vilnus, who had died a few years prior. With no other relatives to speak off, Hyperion was made Lord of Vilnus and the Gryphons found a permanent home within the city.
The Gryphons have evovled from a simple mercenary group, now recruiting from the ranks of Vilnus as well as the north city of Munster. This is because the previous lord of Munster, Lord Vintar, adopted one of the Gryphons, Alric Brazenhammer, and later named him lord of Munster. Regardless the fighting spirit and comradery of the Gryphons has not changed, still proving to be a vital part of Teutonia's fighting forces.
