The Great Famine & the introduction of undead Assets

Disaster / Destruction

267

Teutonia is struck by a great famine and disease ravages the land. The priesthood of Mortis (known as the Leichenhallen) propose a unique solution to King Gottfried, to utilise the dead to work the fields and thereby contain the spread of the disease. The licensed use of unliving is brought into Teutonian civilisation.
The Churches of Mortis and Sythis clash over this, but are held in check by the iron rule of kings.
