First Churches of Sythis are present in Teutonia, followed by the Churches of Bane and Mortis
Following years of tribal warfare, the nation of Teutonia is formed.
King Haraf the first is crowned.
Followers of Lythas the Storyteller walk the land
After nearly twenty years of fighting, which nearly destroyed the Nation, Lythas attempts to bring the fighting to an end after seeing the horrors it brings upon the people.
Three brothers, warrior priests, seek out the leaders of each Church. They claim they are the Chosen of the Gods and that the Gods are not happy with the Holy War. The brothers are killed by the Churches of Teutonia, causing the Gods themselves to descend on the Nation. The Gods lay waste to the three armies of the Churches and pronounce that Teutonia has to put aside its petty differences so that the Nation can grow.
Worshippers of Lythas are put to death and all record of him is destroyed.
Thus ends the Holy War
Teutonia is struck by a great famine and disease ravages the land. The priesthood of Mortis (known as the Leichenhallen) propose a unique solution to King Gottfried, to utilise the dead to work the fields and thereby contain the spread of the disease. The licensed use of unliving is brought into Teutonian civilisation.
The Churches of Mortis and Sythis clash over this, but are held in check
by the iron rule of kings.
Documentation found describing the Shrine of Teutonia and confirming its presence in the warhost.
Vipers, aided by Norscan mercenaries, destroy the city of Strasbourg, the Temple of Sythis and the Great Library.
The Order of the Teutonic Knights is founded at Malbrock Castle in Marienburg, as the first order dedicated to Teutonia rather than a city state.
The famine of 545 was famously blamed on the King's decision to hunt a sporting lich instead of a mortal creature during Mutternacht festivities. It is a matter recorded that the Lich in question, Mathila Sauer, participated willingly in this hunt knowing the hunters could not permanently 'kill' them.
Following a formidable campaign against the Cobras, seizing control of all but two city states, Viper General Demetrius is slain outside Murmansk.
The Schlangenkrieg ends as Cobra forces splinter in support of their heir apparent.
Riga removes itself from political involvement and refuses to support any claim to the throne.
Viper Lord Hinrick bands together the remnants of all Teutonian forces and starts to rebuild the Nation, removing any rebel leaders and forcing peace. He is later named King Hinrick.
During the Reign of King Wilhelm (990-992), Riga came under the control of the vipers that subjugated the cobras in the city to their rule, and disbanded the senate. Within a year as the city floundered with the King away from his lands and the threat of invasion from the Norseman Wolves, the Rigans reinstated the senate and removed the viper nobles in charge from the city.
This threat of invasion became a pivotal point in Riga’s history as the First Legion of Riga was
created from the standing militia. Warriors came from all over the city state to enrol in this modern army. Rigan craftsmen quickly created the armour and weapons and a General was put in place to Command this Army. His name ‘Marcus Lucius Apostis’
As the wolves landed 10,000 men in Parna to the East of Riga destroying half the town.
General Apostis marched his Legion of 4,000 men and 1,000 ancillaries made up of beast men and dwarves to the plains of Ogre.
When the two armies met the Rigans formed a square and allowed the barbaric wolves to fall upon the shield wall wave after wave. Although heavily outnumbered 2-1 the shield wall held and the unbreakable will of the Rigan legionnaires force the wolves back eventually routing them from the field and chasing them back to their boats.
The Knights of Courage are established by the brothers, Heinrich and Damien Chess. They set up their base within the Black Forest.
Eric Von Carstein, High Priest of Courage, attempts to create the Paragon of Courage by binding the Principle of Courage to the Eagle Knight, Damien Chess.
In an attempt to stop this catastrophe, the Dragon Knight Heinrich Chess becomes the Paragon of Terror.
The Dragon Knight razes the Temple of Courage and enslaves Eric Von Carstein for his crime against the world. Eric is later known as Skinner.
Cobra Knight Frederic Kruger assassinates the royal family and sacks Berlin. The only prince, Gustav, escapes to live in exile in Albion with his remaining loyal Vipers. Frederic is crowned king.
Gustav returns to Teutonia with Lion and Wolf allies. Viper Lords flock to his banner and defeat King Frederic II. Gustav is crowned King Gustav II.
King Gustav II and the entire royal family go missing. Many believe they have been assassinated by Cobras.
King Harriatta ascends to the throne. He rewards his loyal friend General Hagan Hagensen by rescinding the ban on worshipping Khoreg.
The Viper-Wolf war was a series of Skirmishes and sieges between the Warhost's of the two nations, it eventually involved the Algaia (then known as the Gryphons) and the Lions as allies, with the newly founded Jhereg siding with the Vipers as well.
At a Great Fayre held in Teutonia, the warhosts are contacted by ambassadors from a previously unknown Empire of green-skinned races. Despite the diplomatic overtures, war breaks out between the Allied Factions and the Empire of the Golden Isles.
Teutonia is ravaged by Imperial armies. The warhosts break the siege of Odessa.
Later that same year, Teutonia suffers heavy losses defending the transportation circle at the Lonesome Pine, enabling her allies to pass through to invade the Golden Isles.
During the reign of King Harrietta, The City of Riga was allowed to prosper. Harrietta although hated the Cobra’s was too busy fighting several enemies had no time to fight on yet another front and also knew that he needed the Rigan Legions to hold the North eastern border. It was during this time that the Rigan II Legion made a name for itself at the Siege of Murmansk, destroying the Green skin army outside the city walls.
The Allied Factions surrender to the Empire of the Golden Isles.
Almost half of Teutonia is ceded to the Empire, including the cities of Archangel, Bashkir, Holborne Head and Vilnus.
King Harriatta sign the Treaty of Gibraltar with Lord Bothvar of Norsca.
King Harriatta is taken by the Gods. Duke Kainom is named as Lord Protector, later crowned King Kainom. The Mistress of the Seas manifests outside the city of Noravik in a ritual to crown King Kainom.
King Kainom is slain in Albion leading the Teutonian legions against the Keltoi invaders.
King Hapsburg is crowned upon election by the princes elect. Maximillian Kruger, a Cobra Knight, is defeated by Hapsburg in battle. King Hapsburg negotiates peace with the Keltoi invaders, offering them land in Teutonia. Thirteen Knights are chosen to form a new Order of Knights by King Hapsburg. They travel to the Pole of Spirit to retrieve the spirit of General Demetrius.
The raising of the dead to use in service of the Nation is banned by King Hapsburg. The Nation faces economic crisis as industries struggle to complete civil works.
Rigan 5th Legion and support staff, under the guidance of Brother Vinificus, join the Teutonian warhost. They are met with suspicion from the primary Viper warhost.
While in Bad Tolz suppressing a rebellion of Chieften Clovis and the Auedi, the warhost discovered there was division in their Imperial neighbours, as the Mempo rebellion began. With the conflict between the Golden Isles and the Mempo, the occupied Teutonian territory fell out of anyone's guardianship.
King Hapsburg signs a peace treaty with the Cobra leader, Annalise Von Heidelburg, ending the fourth Schlangenkrieg.
King Hapsburg marries Tabitha Drachmorden, but is murdered by the Tagmatoi Despot on the same night. His death is a great tragedy, but saves the world from invading forces.
Queen Tabitha and her son are taken into the protection of the wraith lord Hagen Hagenson at Khoreg's Gate. The rest of the Drachmorden family disappear, presumed dead.
Flamenica Callista Aurelia, proconsul of Riga, and Nash, Lord Protector of the Faith, lead the warhost of a united Viper and Cobra Teutonia.
Following the Death of King Frederic Von Hapsburg and the disappearance of the Drachenmorgans, Flaminca Calista Aurelia, priestess of Sythis, is elevated by the gods to the Empress of Teutonia.
The Shrine of the Gods is found, Brothers Artorius, Tinnius, and Fredricks become its bearers.
The warhost discovers the Altar of Courage on the Western Continent and returns it to its original location in the Black Forest. After many years of war against the Dragon Knight, the Principle of Courage is released from the Altar and the Dragon Knight is laid to rest. Balance is restored to the Court of Spirit.
The Pact Mundi is declared in Albion, starting the Age of Reckoning and the Second Fae War. Teutonia declares for the mortals alongside the rest of the Allied Nations.
The Age of Reckoning is marked by the declaration of the Pact Mundi in Albion during the Renewal of 1115. Starting a new calendar beginning at 1, though Teutonia still uses its traditional calendar.
Gul emerges as the influence behind Von Wolfsburg and assaults Khoreg and Khorne. Their avatars are destroyed, causing them to be reborn to mortal mothers. Gul's failure to destroy the God Children also causes Lythas the Storyteller to break free from his restrictions, restoring his story to Teutonia.
Tuetonian forces decimated by Fae troops. Half of the Warhost is killed, of the rigans who took the field only six return to camp. Vth legion Effectively destroyed.
The Sword of Demetrius is lost to the enemy.
Empress Calista is confronted by the Swartsengel, an anicent Vampire lord whom worships Syth, the empress disappears after the confrontation.
Dominus Drussus Scaro, Former Gladiator now General of Teutonia, takes up the staff of
the gods in the name of the people. Preator Aulus Cinnia proclaims him Drussus Caesar. Caesar declares Martial Law.
Swartsengel meets with Caesar and agrees to formally inter-grate his followers back into
Teutonia at large, on one condition, he is given a city and lands to rule as is befitting a
Noble. He demands Riga as his seat. Caesar, after long consideration, gives his assent, for
the good of Teutonia.
The city of Munich and the citadel of Khoreg's Gate are destroyed by the forces of the demon Bastaphon, with aide from the now un-Pacted Fae King Sable. Khoregate Churches across Teutonia are assaulted and their followers demonically cursed beyond death.
Queen Tabitha and her son disappear in the devastation of Munich, later revealed to have been rescued by the Fangs of Syth.
Teutonian forces play a crucial role in winning the Battle of Elvesham against Marcus K'harn, the undefeated Fae general. Whilst Caesar holds the line, a new member of the Warhost, Gaius Crow, manages to steal their means of reaching their objective from enemy hands.
Teutonia earns Marcus K'harns respect thereafter.
Caesar orders all corpses, regardless of legal bindings, to be used as assets to refortify the major cities. The Corpses are then stored in the Underdark.
The city and deep water port of Odessa are destroyed by the forces of demon Bastaphon, now known as Golgerragoth, and King Sable's army.
Lord Arcane Avalon Von Odessa orders all Teutonian ritual teams to perform continuous devotional rituals to prevent further demonic incursions. The Nation begins to feel the economic strain.
The Allied nations deal a devastating blow to the Fea invaders of Glaramara, followed by an equally devastating strike on the Plane of Mastery. The assault destroys much of the Fae army and kills many of the Fae leaders.
The forces of Sable, known as the Joyful Lost, continue their spread across southern Teutonia. Led by the fallen Knight, Ser Karl Brandenburg, they lay siege to the cities of Queeg and Ravenburg.
Caesar orders the destruction of all bridges leading from the south to the Black Forest to arrest their progress to the Great Circle.
The combined might of the war hosts repels the besiegers at Ravenburg and saves the city from destruction.
As the Allied Nation defend and defeat the Joyful Lost army in the west of Teutonia; the eastern army manages to take Bad Tolz, and makes its way through the deadly Black Forest to the Great Circle.
Drusus Caesar and Primus Edana lead forces from Vienna and Riga to retake Bad Tolz, trapping the Joyful Lost inside the Black Forest.
The Allied nations defend the Great Circle from King Sable. The Teutonians, Wolves and Algaia manage to kill the Fea King, but unleash the Ouroboros within it. However during the battle Caesar is captured by members of House Colburn, a Vampire house that Teutonia had failed to recruit as allies and had joined Sable out of Spite.
The following day the rest of the Allied nations manage to kill Ouroboros before it became too powerful. Thus ending the threat of it devouring the Circle.
The Black Forest reserve are charged with routing out the remaining Joyful Lost from the forest, by the spirit of the Black Forest.
During the Battle of Dust, a group of individuals attempted to unlock the seal placed by the Tagmatoi and King Hapsburg 10 years ago. However they failed to take into consideration the build up of magic energy within the circle. This resulted in a surge of power being fired from the Great Circle and slamming into the plane of Illusion.
Illusion seemingly sealed itself off even further, but the effects where not made clear initially.
With Caesar turned into a Vampire Thrall under Elizabeth Colburn the question of how Teutonia should govern itself comes into question.
In order to help govern Teutonia until a new leader is chosen, War hero Lucius of Wolfsburg is named Lord Steward in a vote by the warhost. Just beating his wife Xiomara by a few votes.
In a campaign to rid the last pockets of Joyful Lost and demonic influence from Teutonian soil, Primus Edana, General Vintar and General Heinrich lead an assault to take back the city-state of Odessa.
However the Warhost and thier armies are forced to retreat after being defeated outside the Walls of Odessa by the regions leaders, Gissel Von Murmansk and Sir Ryker Schnee.
Following the destruction of Illusion peoples memories of the last 2 years begin to get hazy, with some people seemingly having completely different memories I.E Xiomara Fuchs. The Teutonian warhost seemingly wakes up at a gathering of the warhost with little memory of the last 2 years but also discovering that they have been exiled.
Apparently in the last 2 years Gissel Von Murmansk and Sir Ryker Schnee were able to gain enough backing, including the backing of Lord Swartzengle, in order to take control of the government and exiled the members of the warhost. However some cities with strong ties to the Warhost refuse, including Vilnus, Vienna and Wolfsburg.
Orel is destroyed as the result of a Thaumaturgical weapons test. As a consequence the land surrounding Orel becomes heavily contaminated. Liepaja’s land also becomes heavily contaminated in a similar weapons test.
Tabitha Drachemorden and her son Frederic are rescued from her forced marriage to Emperor Ryker. Both are whisked away to a secret location by the Warhost-in-exile.
Another Thaumaturgical weapons test results in the destruction of Nuremberg. The gang known as The Ravens, claims responsibility.
His army held off by the combined Allied Warhost, with Ryker himself falling in the battle. Giselle von Murmansk is named Empress after his death.
This counter-invasion is also defeated by the combined Allied Warhost
The Teutonian Warhost, alongside their Allied Nations, perform the Cantle Rite at the Renewal of Magics
In a major summit, the full Reichstag council vote on whether the Teutonian Warhost will be allowed to return to Teutonia. The vote concludes with a resounding outcome of Yes
